Segal Hires National Director of Content, Marketing and Sales Support

New York (12/7/15) —  Joseph A. LoCicero, President and CEO of The Segal Group, announced that Richard S. Hiss has joined the firm as a Senior Vice President, National Director of Content, Marketing and Sales Support. In this new position, Mr. Hiss will oversee the functions of national sales, marketing and public affairs.

“Rick is a seasoned and successful marketing and sales professional who has executed strategic marketing, communications and business development campaigns in the U.S. and Canada,” commented Mr. LoCicero. “The breadth of his past work has given him the opportunity to work with each type of client that Segal serves.”

Mr. Hiss’s considerable experience spans 30 years. He spent 20 years in various U.S. and Canadian leadership roles at professional services firm KPMG, most recently serving as the Executive Director, Functions and Industry Marketing for KPMG Canada.  Earlier in his career, he gained experience in the healthcare industry as Marketing Director for The Travelers.

Mr. Hiss received a Bachelor of Science in Business from Miami University (Oxford, OH) and studied Strategic Marketing Management at the University of Chicago. He works in Segal’s New York office and reports jointly to David Blumenstein, Senior Vice President, National Multiemployer Practice Leader, and Cathie Eitelberg, Senior Vice President, National Public Sector Practice Leader. He lives in Hillsdale, NJ with his wife, Jill.
